Lauren Winnenberg was born on Naval Air Base, Lemoore, California; October 29th 1992. She got her undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts, emphasizing in Acting and Directing from Concordia University Irvine. She then received her Masters in Arts Politics from NYU Tisch. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and works in the surrounding region. She has featured work at Concordia and at NYU. She has worked both in an artistic capacity and technical, working in stage management work for Phantom Projects Theatre Group (La Mirada, CA) Culture Project (Off Broadway) and Xoregos Performing Company (New York Fringe Festival).
She has experience in arts programing and administration, working as an assistant director for the Lower East Side Festival of the Arts out of Theater for the New City (Off off Broadway) as well as an administrative and social media intern for Culture Project. She also has experience working in educational theater, assistant directing for Creative Kids Playhouse Orange County and assisting development of a theatrical summer camp for City Tree Christian School in downtown San Diego. Lauren received a research grant out of NYU’s department of Art and Public Policy to continue work on a collection of military family narratives and stories from that community. Currently she continues her works as a performer and writer with the 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company.
She continues to act with Theatre 68 and her own personal work. Additionally she is featured in the second season of the web series WINK as a recurring character.
