(New York, NY - October 1st, 2023) Theatre 68 is proud to present the World Premiere of two original one-act plays from playwright, Jesse Waldinger: Triangle: Scenes from a Prosecution &  The Venona Decryption.  Produced by Artistic Director, Ronnie Marmo (Criminal Minds, General Hospital, I’m Not A Comedian… I’m Lenny Bruce), directed by Lauren Winnenberg & Audra Zook.  Performed by the NYC Chapter of Theatre 68, these historical dramas bring focus to two pivotal, high-stakes 20th century affairs.  

Triangle (Directed by Winnenberg) dramatizes the criminal trial of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory owners following the conflagration that took 146 lives in New York City in 1911. Based on actual trial transcripts, this piece explores the many sides of this tragedy & the ensuing fallout.
